While my knowledge of NDIS and SDA was limited, I dove headfirst into research, becoming well-versed in the topic. Seeing the first completed home was a powerful experience, a tangible representation of the positive impact we were making. Learning more about the NDIS opened my eyes to the real-world needs of people with disabilities.  The realisation that young adults were residing in nursing homes due to a lack of suitable housing options fuelled my desire to help. SDA offers a transformative solution – accessible, beautiful homes designed to empower people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. The opportunity to contribute to these homes, and perhaps even offer a helping hand with decorating, is something that really excites me.
